Riot teams up with Japanese composer Hiroyuki Sawano for epic Star Guardians content
This is quite the collaboration between League of Legends and anime.
A new Star Guardian teaser video was shown during theLeague of Legends Pro League(LPL) Summer Gauntlet Finals.
The 30-second clip featured the four upcomingStar Guardianskins Xayah, Rakan, Zoe, and Neeko in action. The epic scenes seem to be set inside an abandoned castle, which signifies a darker-themed skin design for these champions.
The music of popular anime composer Hiroyuki Sawano was used in the teaser video, featuring the voice of singer Gemie. Sawano is known for his musical works on different animated series such as Attack on Titan, Aldnoah.Zero, Guilty Crown, and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.
A countdown followed after the video was presented, featuring the existing Star Guardians Janna, Lulu, Jinx, Poppy, Lux, Syndra, Soraka, Miss Fortune, Ezreal, and Ahri, before concluding with a special stage mapping presentation featuring the four new Star Guardians.
