Work Auster Force look to be a major threat in the lower bracket as they defeat fan favorites Nexplay Esports, 3-1, on the first day of theMobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional LeaguePH Season 7 playoffs.

The squad, led by coach John Laurence “Lift” Ruiz, looked dominant throughout the series. Work Auster Force lost game one to Nexplay Esports, before winning the remaining three in the best-of-five series.

After dropping game one due to numerous errors which led toJohn Paul “H2wo” Salonga‘s Ling securing a maniac, Work Auster Force regrouped in game two with Daniel “Chuuu” denying Ling. He went on to dominate the match with a KDA of 8/0/5.

The third game against Nexplay Esports was a lot closer, but Work Auster Force’s Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico did wonders onBenedetta.

He was crowned MVP of the game with a 9/4/3 KDA, for he got a handful of crucial kills in the early stages of the match, which helped his team immensely.

The fourth and final game was Clarense “Kousei” Camilo’s show onEsmeralda. A triple kill at the 11-minute mark greatly swayed the momentum in Work Auster Force’s favor.

A wipeout at the 16-minute mark was the final nail in the coffin for Nexplay Esports’ MPL PH playoffs run, the first team to bow out of the tournament.

With the win, Work Auster Force advances to the second round of the MPL PH playoffslosers bracket, and will face the loser of Blacklist International and Bren Esports’ match on Thursday, May 27.
