The potential is certainly there.

This information comes via areport from Dexertowhich claims a total of three former world champions could be landing in Seattle.
The Seattle Surge looks to revamp with three former champions
The Surge join the growing list of rosters formalizing as teams look to make changes in an effort to bolster their chances next year.
Seattle started fresh, parting ways with their entire 2023 roster in addition to the coaches and even the general manager.
It’s expected that former OpTic Texas head coach Ray “Rambo” Lussier may be stepping into the GM and head coach role with the new roster.
In terms of who will make up that roster, the three former world champions areAlec “Arcitys” Sanderson,Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal, andCuyler “Huke” Garland. Having won championships with different organizations, rosters, and titles, there’s a wealth of experience coming together on this roster.
Arcitys had a rough year with the Los Angeles Guerrillas with the squad failing to make the CDL Championship 2023 event. Previously he was part of a dominant Atlanta FaZe roster.
Both Huke and iLLeY saw themselves dropped or traded during the 2023 season. Huke would move from LAG to OpTic and have a bit of a resurgence, while iLLeY will be getting his return to the CDL officially with this roster.
Coming in as some fresh talent to help foster is Jordan “Abuzah” François. Abuzah made a name for himself in Challengers, and may be getting his shot to prove his worth in the big leagues in the upcoming season should this roster come to fruition.
Should this roster be finalized, there will be a lot of interest in how this squad performs. We know we’ll be watching.
