The announcement was made during this year’s Brasil Game Show 2019 where Street Fighter Series executive producer Yoshinori Ono promoted theIntel World Open 2020, a high-profile esports competition organized by the International Olympic Committee.
Capcom is working with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and will be hosting a Street Fighter V competition with a massive US$250,000 prize pool. The new costumes appear to be inspired by the Intel World Open, with the in-game skins added to to get more eyes on the event.
