Forev was the first player T1 signed when the organization decided to enter the Dota 2 competitive scene back in August of last year. Since then, Forev has been competing together with T1 in the Southeast Asian region.
But T1 has struggled to produce desired results throughout the 2019-2020 Dota 2 season. The team mostly competed in lower-tier tournaments and have lost to lesser-known teams in the SEA region.
T1 also stumbled in open qualifier competitions despite often being considered the favorites. This has caused the team to rethink their roster, which is why the organization decided toswap out Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier and Yixuan “Xuan” GuoforGalvin “Meracle” Kang Jian and Wilson “Poloson” Koh Chin WeiafterT1 lost to Team Oracle in the ONE Esports Dota 2 Jakarta Invitational: Indonesia Qualifier.
Forev’s efforts with the team have earned them two minor tournament wins in the Hephaestus Cup and the SEA Dota Invitational 2020. The team also finished infourth place during the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League, losing out to the Geek Fam who continued on to win the tournament.
T1 has not announced a replacement offlane player just yet, nor has Forev mentioned where he’s moving to next.
