T1 parts ways with Meracle and coach, Xfreedom

Meracle was with T1 for only five months.

Global esports organization T1 has announced that it has parted ways with Dota 2 player, Galvin Kang “Meracle” Jian Wen, and Dota 2 coach, Nicholas “xFreedom” Kelvin Ileto Lim.

Meracle joined T1 with fellow Singaporean Wilson “Poloson” Koh Chin Wei, afterDominik “Black^” Reitmeier and Yixuan “xuan” Guo left the team.

During his time with T1, Meracle helped the team win the Hephaestus Cup and SEA Dota Invitational 2020 in May.Meracle was also pivotal in T1’s fourth-place finishduring the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League, where theylost to tournament champions Geek Famin the lower bracket semifinal.

xFreedom signed with T1 in early March this year, alongside fellow coaches Choi “cCarter” Byoung-hoon and Pyo “MP” No-a.

Moving forward, T1 could move MP to their active roster as a hard carry player, since the talented Korean player was part of Fnatic’s stacked Dota 2 squad in 2019 that finished third in the DreamLeague Season 11 Stockholm Major.
