T1’s new roster will debut at the NSG X Renegades Valorant Invitational
This competition will be the perfect warmup for NA teams prior to the First Strike regional qualifier.
Renegades has partnered with Nerd Street Gamers to host a US$10,000 Valorant Invitational, which includes some of the best Valorant teams in North America.

The NSG x Renegades Invitational will take place on October 17-18 and will feature thenewly updated Valorant rosters of T1and Immortals. The 12 invited teams in the competition also include Cloud9, Gen.G Esports, FaZe Clan, Complexity Gaming, Rise, Equinox Esports, Luminosity Gaming, Mamba Mode Gaming, and Renegades’ own Valorant roster.

The final invited team has yet to be announced. And so far, teams like TSM, Sentinels, and 100 Thieves will not be joining the competition.
Meanwhile, Spacestation Gaming, beastcoast, Moon Raccoons, and Andbox all earned a spot in the competition after placing in the two previous online qualifiers.
All 16 teams will be split into four groups, with each group playing a best-of-one opening match. Winners’ and decider matches will follow a best-of-three format, but the elimination match will go back to a best-of-one setting. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinal of the Playoffs.
The Nerd Street Gamers organization has been hosting Valorant Invitationals, Opens, and Monthly competitions dating back to when the game was still in its beta phase. And the upcoming Renegades x Nerd Street Valorant Invitational will be the ideal warmup before Riot’s First Strike regional qualifier begins in North America, which is set to take place in the second half of October.
