T1 has won the Indonesian Open Qualifiers for the ONE Esports Jakarta Invitational.
In the grand finals, T1 faced off against Army Geniuses in a best of 3 match for a spot at the Jakarta Regional Qualifiers.
How T1 topped the ONE Esports Dota 2 Jakarta Invitational Indonesia Open Qualifiers
In game one, Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier put T1 on his back, carrying his team with an outstanding performance on Riki and racking up a 17/1/9 KDA.
The German-carry made plays all game, and relentlessly hunting down AG’s Oracle, who finished with eight deaths in total. The game ended after 39 minutes, with a kill score of 32-16 to T1.
The second game saw T1’s Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky take over the spotlight, as he put in a stellar showing on Ember Spirit with a 18/0/7 KDA.
The Indonesian mid-player made life hell for AG’s Ancient Apparition, killing him nine times. T1 ended the game in just over 24 minutes, with a final kill tally of 29-7.
T1 has now qualified for the Jakarta Regional Qualifiers, which will take place on March 14-15 at Mall Taman Anggrek in Jakarta.
The winner of the Regional Qualifier will earn a spot at the ONE Esports Jakarta Invitational taking place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition on 18-19 April.
The Invitational will see 12 of the best teams from around the world compete for a prize pool of US$500,000.
