Talon Dota 2 welcomes Worawit “Q” Mekchai as had support.

Q last played for Thai organization Motivate Trust Gaming. The team dominated thelower division last year, going 7-0and earning a promotion. MG.Trust ended the first season of the DPC SEA 2021/2022 Division I Tour 1 in seventh place after a 2-5 record.

The team endured a disappointing opening season for its first ever DPC tour. There were high hopes forthe all-star Talon Dota 2 rosterwhen they first formed, but they finished the first tour of Division II in fifth place after a 3-4 record—leading to the departures of Fly and Gabbi.

After Q’s appointment, Talon still has the position one slot left to fill. Among high profile hard carries without a team, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon—currently standing in for MG.Trust after he was moved to the bench at T1—is one that’s been rumored to complete the Talon roster.

If Talon is gunning for a spot at The International 11, the team’s next season in Division II is a critical one. Teams don’t earn seeds to the Major, or even earn DPC points, without being in Division I, which makes promotion all the more urgent.

Talon will look to begin their campaign in earnest in DPC SEA Division II, scheduled from March 14 to April 21.
