Teamfight Tactics makes it to Twitch’s top spot upon beta release
TFT is already killing it on its first day.
League of Legends players have given a warm welcome to new game mode Teamfight Tactics (TFT).
The turn-based game made a debut inLoL’sPublic Beta Environment (PBE),and has already taken the top spot on streaming platform Twitch’s strategy category in just an hour after release.

The beta launch of TFT,Riot Games‘ own version ofAuto Chess,did not go smoothly however as game servers immediately got hammered with excited Summoners. This caused spikes in traffic, long player queues, and even crashes.
The development team of the game mode, however, instantly took action to reduce the number of “crashes down to zero“.
We’re aware PBE is near capacity. We’re assessing whether we can increase it but we wanna make sure things are looking good first.Hang tight!
