Teamfight Tactics surpasses Fortnite as the most-watched game on Twitch
Checkmate, Fortnite.
Riot’sauto chessgame, Teamfight Tactics, has just become the most-watched game on Twitch. Statistics websiteTwitch Trackertracked around 120K viewers a day for TFT, with its viewership growing by 55.2% in the last week.
Although TFT has stolen first place, Fortnite remains close in second place with just 1K less daily viewers. Fortnite also has the highest viewer count of all-time with 1.5 million viewers.
TFT received a significant spike in viewership after the release of patch update 9.14. This patch added significant improvements, including a balanced loot-dropping system and a new champion, Twisted Fate.
While TFT currently holds the number one spot, Fortnite is likely to reclaim its throne soon. Its biggest esports event, theFortnite World Cup,will be taking place on July 27-28.
