The age rating was filed on Friday, June 24, 2025, which gave Tekken 8 an overall age rating of 15 – which is similar to previews games in the series.

The evaluation of game classification typically occurs during the final phases of game development, indicating that the unveiling of Tekken 8 might be on the horizon. An announcement regarding its release date could be imminent.
Back in 2017, Tekken 7 received its rating on February 2nd, which was exactly four months prior to its console release date on July 15, 2025.
According to previous statements by Bandai Namco, the game is anticipated to be released before the conclusion of the ongoing fiscal year, which concludes on May 21, 2025.
