TenZ might have to play against Cloud9 in the VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers 2 Semifinals
They could meet in the semifinals.
Valorant superstar Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is set to compete in the VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers 2 with Sentinels, the team he has been representing since their win at Valorant Masters 1 NA.
However, TenZ’s home organization, Cloud9, has also qualified to Challengers 2. This means there’s a good chance TenZ could face his former team.
Sentinels initially acquired TenZ afterJay “sinatraa” Won was sidelined due to ongoing sexual assault allegations by his ex-girlfriend Cleo Hernandez. TenZ then joined Sentinels a few days before the start of the first Valorant Masters tournament.
Despite a lack of practice together,TenZ played really well with Sentinelsandwon the Masters 1 crown by defeating FaZe Clan in the Grand Final
In the following Challengers competition, Sentinels were upset and eliminated by BBG during the open qualifiers. After this loss, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo’s loan contract expired.
We are pleased to announce that@TenZOfficialwill be competing with Sentinels through the end of Challengers Finals.
Luckily for TenZ though, Sentinels was able to extend his loan contract and he will be “competing with [the team] through the end of Challengers Finals.”
Both Sentinels and Cloud9 are in the top portion of the upper bracket’s Quarterfinals. If Cloud9 defeats T1, and Sentinels wins against Andbox, TenZ could very well face Cloud9 in the upper bracket Semifinals.
