The CGI remake of Pokémon: The First Movie will be available on Netflix this February

Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back — Evolution, the CGI remake of 1999’s Pokémon: The First Movie, will launch on Netflix next month.
Like the original, the movie will follow Ash, Brock, Misty and their Pokémon as they attempt to thwart a plot by Team Rocket to create the super powerful synthetic Pokémon, Mewtwo.
Pokémon: The First Movie original debuted in 1998 in Japan, and was released for international audiences a year later.
Since then, there have been 21 other Pokémon movies, including last year’s hugely successful Detective Pikachu, which also featured Mewtwo.
Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back – Evolution will release on Netflix on February 27.
