The League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational has been postponed due to COVID-19
The LoL MSI joins a growing list of esports tournaments postponed or canceled due to the outbreak.
Riot Games has announced that the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational tournament has been postponed until later this year.
LoL Global Head of Esports, John Needham, made the announcement on the official LoL Esports Twitter account.

“While we remain committed to making the event happen, the health and safety of players and fans come first and foremost, with the integrity of the competition a close second,” said Needham in a statement.
TheLeague of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2019took place last May in Ho Chi Minh and Taipei. G2 Esports emerged as the winner with aclean sweepagainst Team Liquid.
The Mid-Season Invitational joins a growing list of postponed or canceled esports tournaments, which includes allChina and South Korean Overwatch League games, theSNK World Championship, theWESG APAC Finals, and theAcer APAC Predator League.
