The Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League has finally begun

January 6 marks the beginning of the inaugural invitation-only Asia Champions League 2023, a Pokemon Unite tournament that features 15 of Asia’s best teams.

Teams will go head-to-head to compete for a share of the $86,000 prize pool and the championship title.

Invitations were sent to teams who competed at the Pokemon Unite World Championship 2022 and top performers in official regional tournaments.

The 15 invited teams are:

The Asia Champions League is split into two phases: the regular season and the finals.

During the regular season, teams are split into three groups based on region — The East Asia league, Southeast Asia league, and the India league.

The top two teams from each league will then be invited to the offline finals which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Asia Champions League kicks off this January 6

The league stage officially begins on Friday, January 6.

East Asia league matches will be be held at 5p.m. (GMT+8) every Friday, Southeast Asia league matches at 5p.m. (GMT+8) every Saturday, and India league matches at 7:30p.m. (GMT+8) every Sunday.

All matches will be played using the new “Draft Pick” mode which was introduced on July 18, 2025.
