TI9 Day 2 Group Stage roundup: Secret and OG come out on top, EG makes a comeback
Day 2 of the Group Stage had it’s fair share of steamrolls, close games, and upsets. Here are the best moments from the day!
The second day of The International 2019 Group Stage saw reigning champions OG powering up to take the top spot of the Group B bracket 9-1, while Team Secret remained undefeated at 8-0.
OG in particular, had a ridiculous run against Ninjas in Pyjamasusing a carry Io strategy. Meanwhile, Evil Geniuses managed to catch a break, bouncing backwith wins against Vici GamingandRNG in Group B. Na’Vi also had a good run, especiallyagainst Virtus Pro in Group B, while Minseki managed to claw up to third spot in Group A.
For now, Chaos Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas, along with Royal Never Give Up, are in danger of being eliminated and not making the Main Event next week.
