TI9 Day 3 Group Stage results: PSG.LGD obliterates Mineski 2-0
This is PSG.LGD’s 10th win of the group stage for TI9.
PSG.LGD started Day 3 of the TI9 group stage by completely outclassing Mineski in two convincing games.
PSG.LGD drafted a Sven, Tidehunter, and Lina during game one against Mineski. Because of this, PSG.LGD had a significant team fight advantage and had 13 hero kills compared to Mineski’s 3 kills, 19 minutes into the game.
With a 16,000 gold lead on PSG.LGD, even their support heroes were sufficiently farmed. Xu “fy” Linsen’s Lina had an Aghanim’s Scepter and Refresher Orb and Yap “xNova” Wei had a Scythe of Vyse.
And after PSG.LGD caught a stray Gyrocopter in the Radiant base, Mineski was forced to call good game.
The next game was somewhat identical to the first. Mineski gave PSG.LGD easy kills throughout the early stages of game two.
As a result, PSG.LGD was able to walk into the Dire base and finish the game at the 22-minute mark.
