TI9 Day 4 Group Stage results: Virtus Pro’s match against Evil Geniuses ends with a tie
Virtus Pro continues to keep their TI9 hopes alive as they go 6-8, while EG has a score of 7-7.
Virtus Pro manages to earn a crucial draw against Evil Geniuses.
VP’s first match against Evil Geniuses wasn’t even close. They failed to stop Syed “Sumail” Hassan’s Storm Spirit and Artour “Arteezy” Babaev’s Naga Siren’s progression and after a terrible team fight by the Radiant Tier two-tower, VP decided to tap out of the first game.
With VP’s back against the wall, they did a better job at drafting their heroes for game two.
After a critical blunder from Arteezy, VP’s Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev took control of the team fights, and started dealing insane amounts of damage on EG.
EG knew they needed to try something drastic to equalize the game. But Ramzes was too strong at this point and there was nothing else EG could do, except call good game after a devastating team fight outside the Roshan Pit.
