Unannounced Star Wars: Project Maverick game leaked on PlayStation Network

It looks to be set during the original trilogy.

An unannounced Star Wars video game by Electronic Arts has just been leaked by a PlayStation Network datamining bot on Twitter.

The leak suggests that the game, currently only known as Star Wars: Project Maverick, is in development and will be available on the PlayStation Network, although whether it will be a PlayStation exclusive is currently unknown.

The leaked image features an Imperial Star Destroyer and a small squadron of X-Wing starfighters, suggesting that it will be set during the original Star Wars trilogy.

The image also shows a volcano, which could be a reference to Mustafar, the volcanic planet featured at the end of Revenge of the Sith, which later became the personal sanctuary of Darth Vader.

Electronic Arts currently holds the exclusive rights to develop Star Wars games, but further details regarding Project Maverick are unknown.
