The long-anticipated Uncharted movie is finally happening.
The movie adaptation of Naughty Dog’s hit-game Uncharted will be released on December 18,2020with Spider-Man actor Tom Holland as the protagonist Nathan Drake, reportedThe Hollywood Reporter.
Given Holland’s youthful looks, which are somewhat different from Drake’s older, rugged charm, the Uncharted movie will likely focus on Drake’s origin story.
Uncharted will be directed by DanTrachtenburg, who hasformerlyreleased a short film based onValve‘s puzzle-platformer Portal.
The third-person action-adventure game stars globetrotting treasure hunter Nathan Drake and has alreadysolda total of 42 million units worldwide.
