Veteran caster, MonteCristo, joins Cloud9
The former OWL and LoL commentator will now be making content for the LA-based esports team.
Just weeks after his departure from the Overwatch League, Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles has announced that he will be joining esports organization, Cloud9.
Jokes aside, what this means is that I will be making content my way with@Cloud9.I will also be partnering with them on designing competitive products that will be announced shortly.I appreciate the fact that C9 embraces my creative vision and goals.
In true Monte fashion, the content creator revealed his new organization by removing his OWL sweater, revealing a C9 jersey underneath, saying “this is going to the be the last C9.”
On top of creating content for the organization, Monte will also be “designing competitive products” although it remains to be seen what these will be.
From what we’ve seen, we’ll probably see bigger and better analysis videos from Monte.
Seeing as how C9 has its own OWL team in the London Spitfire, we might also see the seasoned caster do some team-based content with them.
