The 2023League of Legendscompetitive season is now in full swing following the new Season Kickoff event.
The LoL Champions Korea (LCK) reigns over all in the new year, afterDRX’s astounding Worlds 2022 victoryagainst fellow LCK team T1.
After a bustling offseason filled with star transfers and promotions, the LCK Spring 2023 season will see 10 organizations compete for the first LCK title of the year as well as MSI qualification.
The official start date of LCK Spring 2023
The Spring 2023 regular season features a double round-robin format that lasts nine weeks from January to March.
The regular season will begin on January 18 — withDplus KIAfacing DRX and T1 facing reigning LCK champions Gen.G — and will conclude on March 19.
The playoffs will commence on March 23 and will continue up until April 9, the date of the LCK Spring final.
With Riot Games’ recent format changes to the Mid-Season Invitational, two teams will represent the region at the international event.
Since an LCK team won Worlds 2022, the two LCK seeds both get a bye to the Bracket Stage of MSI 2023.
