Microsoft also claims that more than 100 games optimized for the next-gen gaming system are scheduled to be released within the year. These include new games likeDirt 5(October 9),Assassin’s Creed Valhalla(launch title),Yakuza: Like a Dragon(launch title), andGears Tactics: Optimized for Xbox Series X(Holiday 2020), as well as popular current titles likeDestiny 2,Forza Horizon 4, andOri and the Will of the Wisps.

The Xbox Smart Delivery system ensures that players who already bought these games for current generation consoles will be able to play the optimized version when the Xbox Series X comes out.

Microsoft is also shining the spotlight on Xbox Game Pass as “the best way to discover new games” as well as a means to “take their console gaming on the go.” In addition to providing a curated library of new console and PC games, Game Pass Ultimate will also allow members to play more than 100 games on Android mobile devices from the cloud.
