You can now make your own Half-Life: Alyx content in Steam Workshop

It’s time to really explore the world of Half-Life: Alyx — through customization.

The new update for Half-Life: Alyx now comes with native support forSteam Workshop, including the beta release of community development tools. The support on the Workshop level editor and creating new models, animation, and texture.

Like all Workshop content, players can browse and access everything the community had developed for Half-Life: Alyx and uploaded onto thegame’s Steam Workshop page. With all the tools on Steam Workshop, all are welcomed to get creative with City 17.

The update also includes maps that showcased how Valve pre-programmed enemy encounters and new features that are in the art pipeline. New content to look out for include tile meshes, static and dynamic cable placement, and texture hotspots.

Steam revealed in itslatest blogpostthat this update is the first beta release of the Half-Life: Alyx Workshop tools suite. The same post confirmed that future improvements will be rolling out in the coming weeks.

The Half-Life: Alyx Workshop suite is accessible to all gamers who already own the game on Steam.
