A popular ranking website in Japan released a list of the cutest anime girls of 2022. A total of 17,000 anime fans participated in the poll, rating 1,072 two-dimensional girls across different series and movie genres.

Rem from Re:Zerotopped the charts as the cutest anime girl of 2022, while her twin sister, Ram, took 21st place on the list. Rem and Ram work as maids for Roswaal L Mathers, one of the antagonists in the series.
Characters from The Quintessential Quintuplets anime series dominated the rankings, taking five spots in the top 10. Miku Nakano, the third sister of the Nakano Quintuplets, was hailed as the cutest girl in the anime.
Titular protagonist Kaguya Shinomiya of Kaguya-sama: Love is War occupied the sixth spot while supporting character Chika Fujiwara landed at 42nd.
